Technology and industry dominate this region, sometimes blotting out the sky with pollutants as they grind closer and closer to their goals.
    The vast technological empire is ruled by a Tsar and a senate composed of the aristocracy who rule each of the various cities under the umbrella rule of Ironfrost.  Ironfrost has long been a supplier of technology to the Outer and Central Provinces, however the Sects have cut off all trade to their controlled regions.  The Outer Provinces still benefit from this mutual trade as nearly all their goods are sold to Ironfrost’s bulging populace.
    Ironfrost has long been at odds with the Sects, maintaining that manipulation of the Galefire and Teknomajik was the calamity that had befallen humanity in their ancient homes among the stars.  They look to technology for everything, viciously shunning the practice of Majik.  However there are some that still combine technology and Majik, and for huge profits.
    When the Sects assaulted the Central Provinces, it was Ironfrost who came to their aid with trundling armored tanks and massive airships that blistered with cannons.  For five years the battle ravaged the Central Provinces until the Sects halted their advance at the Crater.  Now the battle lines are drawn, Teknomajik against Technology, near the Crater, neither side budging save for the occasional skirmish.  Five years have passed and it appears that neither side will lose its eternal vigil.
