Little is known of the current situation in Sekterra save that the coup against the previous Imperator was a success and the new Imperator, Halikar, desires nothing but absolute power over all.  Imperator Halikar has attained a stranglehold over all other Elemental Aspects of the Sects and has launched a ten year campaign against the Central Provinces, slowly bringing them to heel with potent Teknomajik and absolute control over the Galefire.
    It is unknown what his ultimate goal is other than what refugees claim as a accept or perish rule.  Either you side with the Sects and pledge your undying allegiance to them, or die at the end of their blades.  Most Provinces have accepted this brutal imperative; those that haven’t are wastelands of death.
    A citadel has been constructed within New Cenrea, the capitol of the Basien Province that is built in the shadow of the Crater on its many foothills, and it is from here that the Sects exert their rule over the Central Provinces.
    However, there are whispers of discontent in the Elemental Aspects, but who can stand against Halikar?
